BJP President JP Nadda says it's our duty to respect soldiers

Dehradun: BJP President JP Nadda is currently on a visit to Uttarakhand. At Raiwala here, he said, "It is my privilege to have the opportunity to attend the Ex-Servicemen Dialogue and Felicitation Programme today.'' At the same time, he said, "It is our duty to respect the soldiers, but no matter how much respect is given, it will be less, it will be even less to describe it in words.''

At the same time, he further said, "Many people used to say that defence should be worried but did anyone think about the defence budget? In 2011-12, the defence budget was 1 lakh 47 thousand crores. Today, India's defence budget is 4 lakh 78 thousand crore rupees. PM Modi gives first priority to defence.'' BJP President JP Nadda is asking party leaders to communicate with the people as much as possible during migration programmes in the areas and focus on solving public problems.

On his two-day visit, JP Nadda held several meetings with party functionaries, ministers and MLAs at a hotel in Haridwar. He also gave necessary guidelines while taking stock of the ongoing programmes in the state. At the same time, he directed to make migration programmes more useful and to see how and better communication can be established at the district, Mandal, Shakti Kendra and booth level.
