Ahmedabad: The prophecy of the Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani seems to be coming true. Gujarat CM said that the Indian National Congress (INC) will fail to make a dent in the vote bank of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state. According to the trends, the saffron party is set to claim a sweeping victory in the bastion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi yet again. Earlier, Gujarat CM told a news agency that the Congress will not be able to encroach on even an inch of the BJP's vote-share in the state. Those who took Rupani's comments with a pinch of salt by quoting the state Assembly elections of 2017 have been forced to realize that it is not easy to challenge the saffron party's dominance in the state of Gujarat. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in lead from Varanasi Seat with 171.400 votes. In Uttar Pradesh, the saffron party is leading on a total of 54 seats. The SP-BSP-RLD mahagathbandhan, on the other hand, has taken a lead on just 24 Lok Sabha seats. Rahul Gandhi's Congress is leading on just two seats.
