BJP understands the language of the people protesting on streets: Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary

New Delhi: Before the ongoing talks with the Union ministers of farmers on the new agricultural laws, Congress has targeted the Modi government at the Center. Congress veteran Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary said on Saturday that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) -led central government only understands the language of the street protests.

Adhir Ranjan said that the Congress had sought more consultation and consideration of these laws through the Parliamentary Standing Committee, but this request was rejected and when the Congress MPs opposed it in Parliament, they were suspended from the House. In the Lok Sabha, Congress leader Chaudhary tweeted one after the other, saying, 'When the Congress opposed the anti-farmer bills, the ruling party accused us of ignoring the interests of the farmers and even our members (MPs) were suspended in Parliament when the Bills were demanded to be split before they were passed.

The Congress leader further said, 'Now this government is very reluctantly forced to bow to the demands of the farmers. Let us tell you that before the crucial fifth round meeting between the government and the farmers organizations, many Union ministers including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh have met PM Modi to discuss the possible proposal to be given to the protesting groups.
