BJP Workers' Welcome: Rahul Gandhi's Journey Amidst Chants and Potato Gesture

Bhopal:  During Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's journey through Madhya Pradesh's Shajapur as part of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, BJP workers greeted him with chants of 'Modi, Modi' and 'Jai Shri Ram'. In a widely circulated video on social media, BJP members were seen presenting Gandhi with potatoes as his convoy passed by, urging him to exchange them for gold, referencing a past viral video where Gandhi had humorously promised to turn potatoes into gold, albeit it being an edited clip.

Upon disembarking from his vehicle, Rahul Gandhi graciously accepted the potatoes from BJP supporters, exchanging smiles and handshakes with them before returning to his car. Despite the constant sloganeering, Gandhi even blew a flying kiss to the BJP workers.

The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, which commenced in conflict-ridden Manipur on January 14, entered Madhya Pradesh's Morena district from Rajasthan's Dholpur district on March 2. The yatra is set to traverse through Morena, Gwalior, Guna, Rajgarh, Shajapur, Ujjain, Dhar, and Ratlam districts until March 6, before heading back into Rajasthan.

Spanning 6,700 kilometers across 15 states, the yatra aims to spread the message of 'nyay' (justice) while engaging with the common people along the way, culminating in Mumbai later this month.
