Ranchi: A teacher of a private school in Jharkhand's East Singhbhum district has been arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a class 8 student. It is being said that the student became so upset with the teacher that he tried to please himself. But the student's family saved him in time.
When the student told the family members about the atrocities being committed against him, they went to Kadama police station and filed a case against the teacher. According to police, the criminal teacher has made the student a victim of sexual abuse several times. The victim said that the teacher had threatened to fail her and her sister if they did not fulfil her demand.
Officer-in-charge of Kadama police station Manoj Thakur said that based on the complaint, a case under various sections of the POCSO Act was registered. The culprit was later arrested and produced before the local court, from where he has been remanded in judicial custody. The child is still scared of this incident, the same case is being constantly investigated by the police.
