A public interest petition has been filed demanding a ban on the video app Tik Tok in the Bombay High Court. It has been told in the petition that this app is working to harm the youth of the country by showing objectionable content without filtering. According to the information received, this petition was filed on November 11 by Hina Darvesh, a Mumbai resident, who is the mother of three children. Its copies were made available on Monday. The petitioner has claimed that the use of TikTok is causing many criminal incidents including some deaths. TikTok is an application used to create and upload or share small lip-syncing comedy or music videos. This app was launched by Chinese developer company Bytdans in 2017. According to the information received from the sources, Let us tell you that according to Hina Darvesh, a similar petition was filed in the Madras High Court last year, which demanded a ban on the app due to sexual content.
