New Delhi: In India, Hyundai introduced the facelifted Grand i10 NIOS hatchback. Its reservation has started with the payment of a nominal amount of Rs. 11,000 The car gets redesigned exteriors and a spacious interior with plenty of tech features. It is powered by a 1.2-litre engine available in petrol and CNG versions. The Grand i10 NIOS is one of the most loved vehicles from Hyundai in India, which was released in 2019. The vehicle has received its first update and is likely to be showcased at the upcoming 2023 Auto Expo. There are now six new colors available for the four-wheeler, which also gets six airbags, which is a first for the market. It should draw a huge crowd of buyers once it goes on sale. Roof rails, ORVMs mounted on the indicators and 15-inch alloy wheels have been given all around it. The rear is adorned with LED taillamps. The car is available in following color options: Polar White, Titan Grey, Spark Green, Typhoon Silver, Fairy Red and Teal Blue. The 1.2-litre Kappa engine powering the new Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS produces 68 hp / 95.2 Nm in CNG mode and 82 hp / 113.8 Nm in petrol mode. A 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox is used for transmission. The hatchback gets an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with voice recognition, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Six airbags, ABS, EBD, hill assist control, ESC and reverse parking sensors all work for the safety of the passengers. The vehicle is expected to be priced higher than the current model, starting at Rs. 5.54 lakh (ex-showroom).
