Boy dies after brutal assault by teacher in Bihar

PATNA:  In a shocking incident, a seven-year-old boy died in Bihar's Saharsa district on Friday, March 24,  after an alleged brutal assault by his teacher.

Aditya Kumar, the victim, attended a private school in a village under the Sadar police station. He was a LKG student. He had spent the last ten days residing in a hostel. His parents live in the nearby Madhepura district.

The police said that Aditya's parents were informed by the school administration that he had been unconscious and had been sent to a private hospital.

By the time his parents reached, the victim died.

"We sent our kid to the school cum hostel in Saharsa district on March 14. On Friday, we got a call informing us that Aditya had fallen unconscious and had been taken to a private hospital. He was already dead when we got to the hospital "Aditya's father, Prakash Yadav, said.

"To determine the precise cause of death, we have sent the body for post-mortem examination. His death, according to the family, was caused by the physical attack, they claimed. We are alsoattempting to detain the school's proprietor. He is running away. We've filed an FIR, and we're working to find him "said Sub-Inspector Brajesh Chauhan of the Sadar police station.
