Lucknow: The political stir in the country has intensified for the past few days. Meanwhile, in the Lok Sabha elections 2019, the BSP, which had aligned with the SP in UP, has now opted out of it. On Sunday, BSP Chief Mayawati has attacked the Samajwadi Party. BSP Chief Mayawati hit back at the SP on Sunday in a brawl over Brahmin votes in UP. Questioning the SP's announcement of installing 108-feet tall statue of Lord Parshuram in Lucknow, Mayawati said, "Why not install the statue while in power?" Why Brahmin religion was highly exploited and oppressed under Samajwadi Party rule? She blamed that now on coming near the election, there is talk of Samajwadi Party installing a statue in political interest. Mayawati, while coming to the government, announced to install a large and huge Parashuram statue from the Samajwadi Party and said, Brahmin society has more faith in Bahujan Samaj Party, because there is no difference between our words and actions. He also accused BJP and Congress of misleading Brahmins. At the same time, politics has started in UP before the 2022 assembly election, in order to entice casteism and Brahmin in them for votes. After the Samajwadi Party, now the BSP has played the Brahmin card. The BSP chief has attacked the politics of SP's Brahminism. Mayawati said that there should be no politics about any great man, he is not the property of anyone. With this, Mayawati has raised questions on SP.
