BREAKING! 7 dead, 13 injured in bus-truck collision in Maharashtra

BULDHANA: seven people were reportedly killed and 13 were left injured after bus collided with a truck collided in Maharashtra's Buldhana district, today, May 23, morning, reports said.  

The accident happened near Sindkhed Raja town on the ancient Mumbai-Nagpur route in the district, which is more than 450 miles from the state capital Mumbai, an official told.   According to the official, the bus, which belonged to the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC), was heading from Pune to Mehkar in (Buldhana) when it struck the truck. 

Initial reports indicated that six people had died and ten had been injured, however, media reports indicate that at least seven had died and thirteen had been injured.   

According to the official, four bus passengers and the drivers of both vehicles were among the fatalities. The injured were taken urgently to a hospital in Sindkhed Raja town, official added.
