Patna: Two schoolgirls lost their lives in a painful road accident in Bihar's Arwal district on Thursday (May 18) morning. An uncontrollable truck crushed 4 girls and an elderly person going to school near Marila village under Mehandia police station area. Two girls died on the spot in the accident. At the same time, 2 other girl students and an elderly person were injured. They has been admitted to Sadar Hospital. After critical condition, the injured girls have been referred to PMCH in Patna. Angry villagers have blocked the Patna-Aurangabad road after the accident. Due to this the traffic on the route was disrupted.

As per reports, Ramashray Prasad was going to drop the girls to school on Thursday (May 17) morning. Then the unruly truck trampled them. Shivani Kumari's father Runjay Yadav died on the spot in the accident. Doctors declared Kajal Kumari's father Mohit Yadav dead in Sadar Hospital, Ramashray Prasad's father late Raghunandan Paswan, Preeti Kumari's father Runjay Yadav and Khushi Kumari's father Gabbar Paswan were seriously injured in this incident. All the three injured are undergoing treatment at the hospital.

It is being told that immediately after the accident, a crowd gathered on the spot. People informed the police. But, when the police arrived late, the people got upset. They blocked the highway. Right now, the police is probing the accident.
