New Delhi: After getting power from the Supreme Court, Delhi's Arvind Kejriwal has been busy removing officers and bureaucrats. Now the process of changing the Chief Secretary is going on in the country's capital Delhi. Soon PK Gupta can become the new Chief Secretary of Delhi. CM Kejriwal has sought consent from the Central Government through Lieutenant Governor (LG) Vinay Kumar Saxena. In this, the name of PK Gupta has been put forward for the new CS of Delhi. PK Gupta is an IAS officer of 1989 batch.

The current Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar is an IAS officer of the 1987 batch. Naresh Kumar is a 1987 batch officer of AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram and Union Territories) cadre. Naresh Kumar was earlier the Chief Secretary of Arunachal Pradesh. On this proposal of Delhi Government, State BJP President Virendra Sachdeva has said that the change of officers is a common thing. But, after getting new powers from the Supreme Court, the AAP government is misusing it and removing the officials involved in the investigation of Kejriwal's Rajmahal bungalow scam, liquor scam. This is condemnable.

Virendra Sachdeva said that whether it is to remove Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar or to remove officers Ashish Mor and Ginni Singh who come from Dalit community. All the decisions of the Delhi government are decisions taken with a bias. The purpose of these transfers is to stop the investigation of corruption of the Kejriwal government.
