Patna: A shocking incident is coming to the fore from Khusarpur in Patna district of Bihar. Here, on May 13, the police have solved the mystery of the murder of a youth in Sahimchak village. In this case the wife of the deceased and her lover have been arrested by the Khusrupur police while raids are on to arrest the other. 33-year-old Magan Yadav, a resident of Sahimchak in Khusrupur, was murdered by his own wife Soni Devi. Soni was having an affair with her distant relative. When the news of this went to her husband, he was put to death.

DSP Siyaram Yadav told in the press conference on Wednesday that the deceased Magan Yadav was living by running a grocery shop. On May 13, when he was at the shop, two motorcycle-borne criminals reached there and shot him dead in public. In connection with the incident, it was told that Soni Devi, wife of the deceased, was having a love affair with Suraj alias Uday Yadav, a distant relative of Chintamanchak resident of Pandarak police station. Both wanted to get married. Here, the news of this had reached Magan, on which he used to fight with his wife every day. At last, Soni decided to remove her husband, who had become an obstacle in their love, and got her husband killed through Suraj. 

SP told that this incident was completely of blind murder. For its investigation, a team was formed under the leadership of Khusrupur Police Station President Chandrabhanu under the direction of the senior officer. The team investigated the case from different angles and solved the mystery of the murder. Police has arrested Soni Devi and Suraj alias Uday Yadav. Along with this, the country-made katta and a live bullet used in the murder on Suraj's spot have also been seized from the closed petrol pump near Baikatpur. DSP told that another criminal involved in this murder has also been identified, he will be arrested soon. After interrogation, both the criminals were sent to judicial custody.
