New Delhi: The Border Security Force (BSF) arrested a Pakistani intruder near the International Border in Jammu in the early hours of Saturday. Officials said the BSF spotted Mohammad Shabad (45), a resident of Sialkot, trying to enter the Arnia sector from across. He said 'they fired a few shots to warn him and then took him into custody.' Police officials have said that no incriminating material has been found near Shabad. Earlier, on August 25, the BSF had seized eight kg of suspected heroin from a Pakistani intruder in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba district. Thus foiled a major attempt to smuggle drugs. During this time, the intruder was injured in the action of the security forces, but he fled back to Pakistan. Two consecutive infiltration attempts were made in the Jhangar and Lam areas of Jammu and Kashmir on August 21 and 22, in which two terrorists were killed and a notorious guide of the terrorists was arrested. Apart from this, an infiltration attempt was also foiled in the Akhnoor sector. Brigadier Kapil Rana, commander of the Army's 80 Infantry Brigade, said it was a clear indication of attempts to disturb peace in the Rajouri and Jammu region. Do you also have an account in PNB?
