Amritsar: An encounter broke out between drug traffickers and Border Security Force (BSF) personnel near Chandu Wadala post in Gurdaspur on the Indo-Pak border in Punjab this morning. In this encounter, one patient was injured and admitted to a hospital in Amritsar for treatment. The soldiers have recovered 47 kg of heroin, arms and ammunition from the spot. The heroin recovered by the soldiers is said to be worth crores of rupees in the international market. It is said that at 5:15 a.m. today, seeing the commotion on the border, the BSF jawans deployed there started an investigation and asked the people entering the border of India to stop.
