Lucknow: Due to the increasing crime in Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi government has come under the target of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati too. Mayawati has tweeted that in the BJP government of UP, people of the society are suffering from all kinds of atrocities, but the incidents of injustice and atrocities on Dalits are increasing continuously. Mayawati has expressed concern about these incidents and said that the Dalit youth has died due to police brutality in Rae Bareli. Three Dalits were killed in Agra. Expressing sorrow over this, the BSP chief has strongly condemned these incidents. She has demanded from the government to take these incidents seriously, strict action should be taken against the culprits. Mayawati has said that "The government should ensure the safety of people of weaker sections. She said that painful incidents are happening in UP. This proves that there is Jungle Raj in the state". In the last few days, many incidents of kidnapping, murder are coming out in different areas of UP. Opposition parties have been continuously targeting the Yogi government for increasing crime. The opposition parties raised the issue of atrocities on Brahmins in the state even during the Monsoon session of the assembly. Now Mayawati has opened a front against the Yogi government by making 'atrocities on Dalits' an issue.
