Lucknow: Many people in the country have lost their lives due to Coronavirus. Meanwhile, former Minister of State Fazle Imam, who was a professor of Allahabad University, died on Monday morning. The caretaker CMO stated that his COVID-19 test report came out positive. The former minister was admitted to the private hospital at Ayodhya Road. On behalf of the hospital management, under the COVID protocol, he will be buried.

Family members claimed that his report came negative. He asked the collector to get the test done again. Also, the caretaker CMO Dr NK Singh said that the test was done at the behest of the family. The former minister turned negative in the rapid antigen investigation, but earlier on August 26, he underwent RT PCR test in which he was tested positive. Information about this was also uploaded on the website. This death will be included in COVID-19 itself. The family has been asked to bury him under the COVID protocol. The family agreed to this only after seeing the COVID19 positive report.

On the other hand, in Prayagraj, the number of people who have been infected with the corona for the last three days has reached around three hundred. On Monday, 302 new infections were found, while two people died. Earlier, 303 corona patients were found on Saturday and 304 on Sunday respectively. CMO Dr GS Bajpai said that the number of dead on Monday was less than the last several days. In the past days, there were four or five deaths daily. Along with this, the recovery rate is also increasing.
