New Delhi: Congress veteran and lawyer by profession Kapil Sibal has targeted PM Narendra Modi by tweeting on GDP. Kapil Sibal has reminded the election slogans of PM Modi, along with that he has also criticized the government of the Modi government. Congress leader Kapil Sibal has said that GDP has declined by 23.9 per cent.

Sibal has mentioned many times in PM Modi's address, along with the slogan, Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas, on which the PM used to say, "You gave the Congress sixty year. Give me only sixty months". Kapil Sibal further said that "The time has come to fry pakoras". Taking a dig at the Modi government, he said that "Only speech, Zero governance". The figures for GDP have been released a day before, in which a historical decline of 23.9 per cent has been recorded.

GDP has gone below zero. The government has told it as per the estimates. The government's Chief Economic Advisor KV Subramaniam has said that there was a lockdown in the country between April and June, so the fall in GDP was already anticipated. He claimed that the economy will recover in the second and third quarter of July to September and October.
