Haryana expecting something big to come out of 2020 budget

Chandigarh: In Haryana, we are expecting big gifts from the 2020 general budget. In the last few budgets, the state has got frustrated. At the same time, nothing special was found in the budget after Manethi AIIMS. It is also being said that AIIMS has not been able to get out of papers due to land disputes. Every section is eyeing the budget of the Modi government on the first of February. But the government is also waiting for big announcements for the state. According to the information received, ten of all ten MPs of the state belong to the BJP and the state is a coalition government of the BJP. Where CM Manohar Lal has placed many demands in a meeting with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitamaran in New Delhi on 18 December 2019. It is hoped that Nirmala's bag will definitely bring something big for the state. While the new project was announced, the BJP government is also confident in allocating the budget for the old project.

These are the expectations of the government's general budget: -

1. Haryana Government should get the right to buy the lying idle land of the loss-making or closed central units of the public sector.

In Dadri, 205 acres of land of Cement Corporation of India is lying idle, 90 acres of land is not being used in Gurugram of Indian Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited, 70 acres of land in Gurugram of Hindustan Insecticides Limited is lying idle.

3. If a public sector unit wants to buy the land lying idle at the time of closure, it should be mandatory for all public sector undertakings to sell it at a deposit rate of 20 percent.

4. By making proposals for three new railway lines, the approval of approval in the Ministry of Railways is at an advanced stage, announce them in the budget. These new railway line projects are Karnal-Yamunanagar, Jind-Hansi, and Haryana Arbitral Rail Corridor.

5. Financial provision should also be made in the budget for the rapid rail transit system passing through Haryana from Sarai Kalekhan in Delhi to Shahjahanpur-Neemrana-Behror in Rajasthan. The Union Government should make a budget provision for expansion of Hisar Airport in three phases.

6. Another airport is proposed to be established in Karnal. Financial provisions should be made for this in the budget.
