Mathura: In a tragic incident in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura, one person was killed and four others were injured when a building wall collapsed late Sunday night. The incident occurred around 2 am in the Nai Basti area while the family was asleep in their home.
According to Superintendent of Police City Arvind Kumar, the collapse trapped the house owner, Zafar, along with his wife and three children under the debris. The emergency services responded promptly upon receiving the report, rescuing the family from the rubble.
Despite their efforts, a young girl was found dead at the scene. The injured family members were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, while the girl's body was sent for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death. The authorities are investigating the cause of the collapse and have initiated necessary actions to assist the affected family.
