Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy presented silk clothes to Durga maata on Indrakiladri

On Wednesday, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy gave silk to the government on the occasion of Dussehra festival for Durgamma on Indrakiladri. The priests welcomed the chief minister Jagan, who arrived at the temple in traditional Panchkattu garment. The chief minister's head at the Galitopuram of the temple premises was wrapped by Vishnubhatla Shivaprasad Sharma. The CM reached the amma with the silk plate on the head They were offered and special pujas were performed. Later, the priests of the temple blessed and presented the prasadas. The governing body and the authorities handed over the image of The Goddess on behalf of the temple. The CM unveiled the 2021 New Year calendar of Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam. Earlier, Chief Minister Jagan arrived at the temple on the Ghat Road road, the Secretary of the Devadaya Department M. Girijashankar, Special Commissioner P. Arjuna Rao, Chairman of the Governing Body, Pila Somi Naidu, EO Suresh Babu and others were welcomed. Minister Kodali Nani, Rajya Sabha members Mopidevi, MLAs Malladi Vishnu, Vallabhneni Vamsi, Jogi Ramesh, Kolusu Parthasarathy and Vasantha Venkata Krishna Prasad participated in the event.  The mother's birth star, Mula Star, was adorned as Saraswati Devi, the cm YS Jagan visited.

Vijayawada Kanakadurga Temple has been approved by THE CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for the development of rs 70 crore with government funds, said Pila Sominaidu, chairman of the temple. On Wednesday, the chairman spoke to the media after the visit of Chief Minister Jagan Amman. The chief minister has taken up many of the development works in the temple premises and immediately approved. The funds will be spent on strengthening the landslides, the kitchen, the preparation of prasadas, the hair cuts building, the solar power arrangement and other constructions. The temple administration is grateful for the chief minister's immediate response to the development of the temple and the better facilities for the devotees who come to the darshan of the goddess. The orders for the allocation of funds will be officially announced.

Devadaya Minister Velampally Srinivasa Rao thanked the Chief Minister for granting Rs 70 crore for the development of the Jagan Durga temple as no Chief Minister in the history of the state. This is evidence of the sincerity of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy towards the development of temples. The Minister's Office has issued a statement. This is the first time that the government has allocated funds for the development of The Durga Temple. The previous governments had done the development of the temple with the gifts of the devotees. Amman temple has been drawn and constructed, but the government has not spent funds yet. Devotees are happy with the CM's decision.
