Call recorder be careful, from this date your call recorder will be turned off

Do you also have Android Smartphones? Then this news is for you. There are hundreds of call recording apps on the Google Play Store for Android smartphones. However, on the contrary, Apple has listed only a few call recording apps on the App Store which are paid. Soon call recording is going to be difficult even in Android smartphones.

The same is now preparing to tighten control over Google call recording apps. Notably, Google turned off the default call recording feature with Android 10. However, other companies still provide call recording features in their Android based custom OS. From May 11, Google is implementing a new Google Play policy that will prevent third party apps from using the Call Recording Accessibility API. Meaning call recording will not be possible from third party apps since the policy is in force.

However, Android smartphones that already have call recording apps and have received the permission will not be affected by this policy. Call recording can be done through those apps even further, but by installing new apps, calls will not be recorded from them. It is being said that even after this rule, there will be no effect in the smartphones of Google and Xiaomi. This is because they provide native call recording function. However, in the coming time, a policy can be implemented for them too, about which Google has not told anything yet. This new policy of Google will be applicable to third party call recording apps present on the Play Store.
