Washington: Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen informed on Tuesday (November 15) that he has been found infected with the coronavirus. Sen arrived in Bali, Indonesia to attend the G20 Summit. Earlier, he attended the Summit of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. During this time, he also met with many international leaders including US President Joe Biden. The Cambodian leader wrote in a post on the social media platform Facebook that he had tested positive for coronavirus on Monday night and an Indonesian doctor had also confirmed Sen had been infected with COVID-19. Sen has informed that he is returning to Cambodia and will not attend the G20 summit and the subsequent Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) group meeting in Bangkok. Cambodia was the host of the Summit of Southeast Asian Nations, which concluded on Sunday. At the conference, Sen met several leaders face-to-face. Apart from President Biden, he met Japanese PM Fumio Kishida, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, and Chinese PM Li Keqiang among other leaders.
