New Delhi: The girl, who broke her piggy bank and donated Rs 5100 to the PM Cares Fund, is completely healthy and has now reached her home after being discharged from the hospital. The fake news of the death of the girl, who was admitted to a private hospital in Vasundhara for more than a week, went viral on Twitter. The Indirapuram Kotwali police have taken suo motu cognizance and registered a case against the three accused under the Rumour Mongering, Information and Technology Act and the Epidemic Act. The case was investigated by SSP Amit Pathak after rumours of the girl's death went viral. When the police reached the hospital, the girl's father Shailesh Kumar Pandey was busy discharging her from the hospital. In police interrogation, he said that his daughter Kumari Shakti Pandey was found to be infected with corona. After which she was admitted to Avantika Hospital on April 17. She is now completely healthy after treatment. By confirm his father's statement, the police saw the discharge book of the hospital and registered a case against three persons who had taken a copy of it and circulated rumours on social media.
