Srinagar: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the arms and gun license scam case has raided government residences in the Tulsi Bagh area of Srinagar city on Saturday. According to media reports, CBI is also raiding the house of several IAS officials and a former deputy commissioner in Srinagar. Simultaneous raids are being carried out at several places. Just a few days ago, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided about 10 places in Jammu and Kashmir in connection with a terror funding and ISIS module. Investigating agency officials conducted search operations in Srinagar, Baramulla, and Anantnag districts. NIA arrested 5 people at four places in Anantnag and one person in Srinagar during the raid. A day earlier, the Jammu and Kashmir administration had fired 11 government employees, including two sons of the most wanted terrorist Syed Salahuddin, for their alleged involvement in terror-funding activities. Syed Ahmed Shakeel Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) and Shahid Yusuf Salahuddin were working with the education department.
