New Delhi: Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar once again endorsed the three new agricultural laws and said that our intention is to provide freedom to farmers from mandi fleets and open market to sell their produce. Some farmers are not convinced, the Government is ready to listen to them on every issue. The Agriculture Minister has urged the farmers to agree to the discussion on the path of agitation. Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal held press talks on Thursday after the 19-page written draft proposal sent by the Central government on Wednesday was rejected by the farmers. He said that the farmers are demanding the withdrawal of the agricultural law, we are saying where there is a problem in the law, tell it and discuss every point. The Government is ready to remove their doubts according to their suggestions, but the regrettable situation is that no issue is being brought to the discussion on the part of the farmers so far. He said that the government has already assured to give in writing on the minimum support price (MSP).
