New Delhi: Union Minister Prakash Javadekar has said that Shaheen Bagh's protest is completely undemocratic. He said that anti-country forces have gathered there. Javadekar has said that the dharna in Shaheenbagh is demanding that the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) be withdrawn, but the CAA will not be returned. Those who have started picketing without asking, also have to finish it. Prakash Javadekar has said how demonstrative democrats who attack the media team can be.
Earlier, Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Saturday said that the Modi government is ready to talk to the protesters of Shaheen Bagh. Ravi Shankar Prasad has indicated this in one of his tweets. Prasad tweeted that the government is ready to talk to the protesters of Shaheen Bagh, but it should be done in a systematic manner. Modi government is ready to talk to them and clear their confusion about CAA.
It is noteworthy that protesters have been sitting on the road in Shaheen Bagh for nearly 50 days in protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). Let us tell you that under the CAA Act, the Central Government has implemented the Citizenship Amendment Act, which provides for Indian citizenship to Hindu, Jain, Buddhist, Sikh, Parsi, and Christian refugees who came to India through religious persecution from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
