Will PUBG ever return back to India? Union Minister Javadekar replies

New Delhi: If you were waiting for PUBG to return to India, then reading this news is a must for you. In fact, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar gave a big statement today, saying that many mobile games are violent, pornographic, and habitual, and PUBG is also included in them. For this reason, the government will set up a Gaming Center of Excellence to promote Indian cultural values.

PUBG is among the 100 apps that the government had banned last year. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has said that the ministry is setting up a Game Center to conduct courses related to VFX, Gaming, and Animation. So that games can be developed that will promote Indian culture. Javadekar said that the government would build a gaming center in India, which could be set up soon, which would benefit the Indian culture.

The Made in India mobile gaming app is encouraged by PM Modi. Javadekar said that I am very happy to announce that the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has decided to set up a Center of Excellence in Gaming and other related areas in collaboration with IIT Mumbai (IIT Mumbai). We are in the final stages of preparation and by 2021 a new session will begin.
