Channi arrives at Gurudwara before counting of votes, AAP begins preparations for celebration

New Delhi: The results of assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Goa, Uttarakhand and Manipur will be declared today. In Punjab, the house of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) CM face Bhagwant Mann has been decorated with flowers. Along with the decorating of Bhagwant Mann's house, jalebis are already being built in the hope of his victory. Even before the results of the assembly elections today, political parties have intensified preparations to celebrate.

Even before the results, Congress leader and CM Charanjit Singh Channi visited Gurudwara Sri Katalgarh Sahib in Ropar. Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi also visited the Hanuman Temple in Prayagraj on Thursday morning. Today, along with Punjab, the results of the assembly elections held in 403 seats of UP are also being released. Gopal Gupta Nandi tweeted, "With us Shri Raghunath so what is the concern, he kept in the shelter when he was worried about what to do... Worshipped God before departure for counting of votes. Wished for public welfare along with the worship of Lord Bholenath in the ancient wish-fulfilment temple."

A large number of security forces have been deployed outside the counting centre in Moradabad before the counting of votes for the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh started. Elaborate security arrangements have been made to avoid any untoward incidents.
