Woman attempt to burn his husband in Dhamtari for her lover

Dhamtari: A case of strangling relationships has come to light in Junglepara area of Dhamtari district of Chhattisgarh, where the wife tried to burn her husband alive. During this time, the husband got burns of 50 percent, which is undergoing treatment in the hospital. The police have registered a case under section 307 against the wife after taking the statement of the injured husband. The police is investigating the matter. According to police, the woman carried out the incident for the lover.

According to the police, Gautam Kashyap of Junglepara Ward 5 used to have a dispute with his wife the day he arrived. On Saturday evening at around 7 pm, husband Gautam slept in the room when his wife brought haylet from the kitchen and poured it on it and then set it on fire. The husband came out of the house with the blazing fire and started running here and there. People around were scared to see Gautam surrounded by fire. Meanwhile, his wife poured a bucket of water on her husband and fled from the spot. Neighbors entered Nagri Hospital in critical condition. Seeing his condition critical, the doctors referred Dhamtari District Hospital. According to doctors, Gautam has burnt about 50 percent of the fire.

CL Sahu, the in-charge of the district hospital, and the investigation officer of the city police station, AR Sidar, recorded the statement of the injured Gautam Kashyap. Officials said that Gautam works as a laborer and has epilepsy. There was a quarrel between the two after seeing their wife talking through the mobile all day. In his statement to the police, Gautam said that his wife had an illicit relationship with another man. Based on the statement of the injured Gautam, the police has registered a case under section 307 against the woman.
