Raipur: In Chhattisgarh, 2438 coronavirus cases have been registered in the last 24 hours. The number of people infected with the virus has increased to 58,643 in the state. 1138 people have been discharged from hospitals after recovering from COVID19 on Friday. State health department officials said on Friday that 2438 cases of infection have been reported today. Of these, 715 cases are from Raipur district. 288 cases from Rajnandgaon, 231 from Durg, 209 from Bilaspur, 106 from Janjgir-Chandipa and rest from other districts have been registered. Officials said, 7,56,163 samples have been tested in Chhattisgarh so far. Of these, 58,643 people have been found infected. 27,123 patients have been free of infection after treatment, there are 31002 active cases in the state. 518 people have lost their lives due to coronavirus in the state. Coronavirus infection has been reported among the highest number of people in Raipur district of the state in 20465. The corona virus infected 239 people in the district. India is the most affected by coronavirus. There are currently 9,43,480 active cases of coronavirus in the country. A total of 76,271 people have died due to infection so far. A total of 45,62,415 coronavirus infection cases have been registered in the country so far.
