Mayawati says this on PM Modi's relief package

Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati praised the efforts of the Yogi Adityanath government during the epidemic coronavirus infection. Mayawati is very active on social media, also tweeted on Friday. Mayawati said that now in the time of crisis, the use of the central government's economic package will also be tested.

In her statement, Mayawati said that for the lakhs of migrant workers returning home suffering from all kinds of due to lockdown for the last 66 days in the country. Court had to say that it is the responsibility of the government to send migrant labours home without taking any money from them for travelling. The government has consistently ignored this demand of BSP. Now they have to follow the order of the court.

Apart from this, Mayawati said that it is now the duty of the central and state governments to solve the basic problem of livelihood of millions of migrant labourers who are returning home, especially in UP and Bihar. Providing them permanent employment is the real test of the government's intention, policy and loyalty. BSP chief Mayawati said, "The central government has lately announced the economic package of 20 lakh crore rupees, it is test how the money will be used. They need justice to live. Now the government will have to give impetus to this campaign."
