May 29 has been a very important day in the world and in India. Many unique incidents have happened on this day in different decades which left a deep impression on the world and human history. 29 May has also been very important from a historical point of view. In which many incidents like fighting, change of power, the establishment of leadership have taken place. The major events in Indian and world history are as follows:

1658 - Aurangzeb defeated Dara Shikoh at the Battle of Samugarh.
1724 - Pope Benedict Trayodash, Pietro Francisco Orsini is born.
1727 - Peter-II becomes Tsar of Russia at the age of 11.

1999 - Civil power established in Nigeria.
2007 - Japan's Rio Mori becomes Miss Universe.
2008 - Bharatiya Janata Party leader BS Yeddyurappa sworn in as the Chief Minister of Karnataka.
2010 - Famous American child artist Gary Coleman passed away.
