School students light solar lamps on Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary, made these two record

New Delhi: On the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, Hundreds of school students attempted to make a world record by lighting solar lamps as part of the Global Student Solar Assembly in New Delhi.  Here, the Ministry of Power of the Government of India and IIT Mumbai had uniquely invited the children to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. In the morning, IIT Mumbai professor Chetan Solanki taught the children to save the environment. 4780 children gathered to listen to this lesson. The Guinness World Record team was also present here.

The head of the team, Rishi, declared that gathering children to save the environment is a world record. In this way, this incident was recorded in the Guinness World Records. In the afternoon children were given parts of solar lamps, they were told to assemble solar lamps. These are the lamps that the Modi government is providing to the children in the village for ease of reading. In the evening, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar administered the oath to the children to save the environment, after which the children lit their assembled lamps and paid tribute to Bapu.

The team with Guinness records asked the children to keep the bulbs lit continuously for 5 minutes and after doing so became a world record. A total of 6841 children also assembled and lit the solar lamps themselves. In this way, 'Bapu' gave the children a chance to make two world records in a single day.
