Children died due to severe cold in Jammu and Kashmir

Jammu: Two children from the Bakkarwal community lost their lives due to the cold in the Brinal Lamed area of Devsar in Kulgam, South Kashmir, and the two siblings lived in tents in the open sky with the family. They have been identified as Sahil Juber (10) and Shazia Jan (6). It has been revealed that the weather has improved in Jammu and Kashmir, but the relief has still not been received. Kashmir is still in the grip of cold wave conditions. According to the meteorological centre, the cold winds are not going to be relieved in Srinagar till 21st January. Light rain has been estimated in parts of Jammu and Kashmir on 22nd January.

The coast of tents in Deesar area had been lost last Saturday. According to information received, the sudden health of Shazia was damaged on Sunday-Monday night. He also succumbed to the treatment. Tehsildar Devsar Abdul Rashid said that the family was spoken to stay in the nearest school, but they did not. It is also being said that the day's temperature has improved in most of the districts of Kashmir. The minimum temperature of the night has seen a decline. In almost all parts, the mercury of the night is going below zero degree. Other sites including Dal Lake have been frozen. The day's temperature in the summer capital Srinagar has been recorded at 3.4 degrees Celsius, 9.8 degrees Celsius above normal.

It is also being said that the beginning of the morning in Jammu was lapped by mild fog. But with the day climbing, the weather became clear. There is some relief in the sun, and it is also being said that the rooms inside are still suffering. The day's temperature in Jammu has been recorded at 4.5 degree Celsius above normal. According to reports, the day's temperature in other parts of the division has also gone up to 4-8 degrees above normal. The day's temperature in Banihal was recorded at 7.2 degrees Celsius, 17.2 degrees Celsius, 15.3 in Batat, 19.3 in Katada and 3.8 degrees Celsius in Bhadrawah. The day's temperature in Kargil has also been recorded at minus 3.8 degrees Celsius below zero.
