Chinese city announced strict punishments for VPN users

Cyber crime is going on increasing the speed of light and due to it countries are taking crucial steps to reduce the crime in the countries. Recently, Chinese city has announced the strict punishments to reduce the crimes.

The users those who are accessing the internet with the help or Virtual Private Networks (VPNs). These regulations were issued to "strengthen China's rule of law and cyberspace security". However, the regulations were announced in the month of July 2016, but need to be strengthened.

These VPNs are used by foreign media in China to get through the world wide internet. More than 700 million people are engaged in the internet from China, some of the platforms like Weibo are the most viewed platforms for the users.

China's cyber security paper norms released, "Safeguarding of China’s sovereignty, security and development interests in cyberspace has become an important strategic goal."
