Chintan Shivir: Rahul Gandhi to meet general secretaries and state in-charges today

Udaipur:: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will meet with the party's General Secretaries, state in-charges, Pradesh Congress Committee chiefs, and Congress Legislative Party leaders at about 10 a.m. today as part of congress' Chintan Shivir.

The meeting takes place on the second day of the Chintan Shivir, which is taking place in Udaipur for three days. Sonia Gandhi, the party's interim president, addressed the leaders who had been invited to the Shivir on the first day, criticising the ruling BJP at the Centre.

Discussions on 'community polarisation,' farmers' difficulties, and strengthening the party for the next elections are on the party's agenda.

The Congress, which has been beset by electoral defeats, will attempt to resurrect itself at the Chintan Shivir, which began on Friday in Udaipur, Rajasthan. This Chintan Shivir will conclude on May 15, with 400 leaders from Central and State Congress Committees taking part. Apart from CWC members, these include Congress MPs in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, general secretary in-charge of states, state presidents, and many more prominent leaders.
