Jaipur: The three-day chintan shivir of the Congress in Udaipur, Rajasthan, begins today. 400 top Congress leaders from across the country, including Congress working president Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, have arrived. Sonia Gandhi addressed the party leaders on the first day of the chintan shivir. During this time, he also attacked the central government.

Sonia Gandhi has accused the Centre of suppressing minorities by spreading hatred. Sonia Gandhi said that, by now it has become completely and painfully clear what PM Narendra Modi and his allies really mean by their slogan 'Maximum Governance, Minimum Government'. This means keeping the country in a permanent state of polarization, forcing people to live in a state of constant fear and insecurity, viciously targeting and oppressing minorities who are an integral part of our society and are equal citizens of our country.

Sonia Gandhi further said that, we can bring about change only with huge efforts, we have to keep the personal expectation subject to the requirements of the organization. The party has given a lot. Now it's time to repay the debt. Once again courage needs to be introduced. Every organization needs change to survive. We are in dire need of reforms. This is the most basic issue.
