Patna: Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) National President Chirag Paswan's attack on CM Nitish Kumar is continuing in the wake of Bihar assembly elections. He has targeted Nitish Kumar's most famous decision this time over temperance. Chirag has made a tweet from his Twitter handle while strongly criticizing the liquid ban decision. Chirag Paswan wrote, "Biharis are being made smugglers in the name of liquid ban. The mothers of Bihar do not want to see their people as smugglers. All the ministers with the Chief Minister of Bihar know that in the absence of Bihari employment, liquor is moving through smuggling, but all of them have sniffed snakes." It is noteworthy that Nitish Kumar has managed to woo the women voters of the state because of the liquor ban verdict. So Chirag Paswan has tried to break into the same vote bank this time. So far, JDU has a clear stand on liquor ban. JDU says the law, which was enacted in 2016, will continue to be upheld. Party spokesman Abhishek Jha has said that liquor ban is a historic decision implemented by Nitish Kumar. For the first time, the CM of a backward state showed courage in this manner and decided to enforce the temperance.
