Uddhav Government announces rs 10,000 crore package for flood-hit farmers

Mumbai: Maharashtra's Uddhav Thackeray government today announced a rs 10,000 crore package to help flood-hit farmers. This amount will be given before Diwali. The Uddhav government will provide 5,000 crore rupees for house building. The government will provide Rs 10,000 per hectare for crops. In addition, rs 25,000 per hectare has been announced for orchards.

The Maharashtra government has announced a rs 10,000-crore package. The amount will be disbursed before Diwali.  Cm Uddhav Thackeray said it is the duty of the government to provide assistance to the people affected by floods and rains. After the review meeting, I have decided to provide financial assistance of Rs. 10,000 crore to farmers and affected people for different works in the flood affected area. We are trying to provide this help to the people till Diwali, "cm said.

Farmers' crops have also suffered heavy losses due to rains and floods in several parts of Maharashtra. Soubey's CM Uddhav Thackeray had arrived in Solapur on Monday to inspect the situation. However, in Solapur, CM Uddhav had faced farmers' outrage. Rain and floods have destroyed millions of hectares of land.
