Cisco set to launch its Indian Manufacturing under Make in India initiative

Cisco’s CEO Chuck Robbins has his visiting cards in 12 languages, including two Indian Languages- Hindi and Marathi. The Hindi visiting card referred his designation as “Pramukh Karyapalak Adhikari”. 

Cisco is very soon going to be a part of the ‘Make in India’ initiative and will be laying a new manufacturing unit in Maharashtra. On Wednesday, Cisco announced that it will develop “a diverse product portfolio in India to support the Government’s Make in India initiative”.The new unit is expected to set up in Pune.

The Launch pad initiative by Cisco to give startups a boost now has eight startups. Chuck Robbins who became the CEO in 2015 talked that there are good vibes that are coming when he thinks of manufacturing in India.
