The country of Italy now wants to reduce the size of the ruling government. Italy has voted to cut the size of the country's parliament by more than a third, exit polls hint. More than 67% of people voted in support of the change, as per a projection from state broadcaster RAI. The number of diplomats in the lower house will be reduced from 634 to 400. The council will also be reduced. The plebiscite was driven by the Five Star Movement that was a part of the governing coalition, which debated that the move would decrease prices.
