Dehradun: In Pithoragarh, located in Uttarakhand, many houses have suffered heavy damage due to cloudburst. Many houses have been badly ruined due to the sudden debris from the mountain. 5 houses washed away in Munsyari after water level increased in the Gori river due to incessant rainfall. VK Jogdande, Pithoragarh DM says, "All affected families have been shifted to a safe place & will be provided compensation. 30 more houses are in danger". After heavy rains on Sunday night, there was devastation due to cloudburst in Tyga village of Munsiyari and Gela village of Bangapani. Many houses got buried in the ground. In Gella village, 3 people died due to being buried in the rubble of their house. As many as 3 others were injured. Apart from this, 9 people are missing in Tyga and one person is reported to be injured. The people here have been trapped in the village due to the flow of the path after the cloudburst. There is no way to connect to any place outside of them. After the accident, the relief-rescue team has been sent to the spot.
