Rajasthan: shameful words of CM Ashok Gehlot on the death of 77 newborns, says 'no problem'

Jaipur: State Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has made a very embarrassing statement on the sudden death of ten newborns in Kota, Rajasthan. Talking to media on Saturday, he said that 3-4 deaths occur every day in every hospital in the state. This is not a new thing. During this time, he claimed that this year the lowest number of deaths has been in the past 6 years.

The media persons had asked Ashok Gehlot that if there were deaths of children in the hospital, then who will compensate for this. Replying to this, Gehlot said that he has statistics that in the last 6 years, the lowest number of deaths has taken place this year. He claimed that there were just 900 deaths this year. Gehlot said that the death of a single child is unfortunate, but there have been 1400 deaths and 1500 deaths. There have been around 900 deaths this year.

Gehlot further said, 'Why has 900 happened, it should not be there either. Every year, 3-4 deaths occur inside every hospital within the country. There is nothing new in this. Gehlot said that he has conducted an inquiry and taken action for this. He said that even in the last term of his government, he upgraded the operation theater of hospitals after a long gap. Let us tell you that ten newborns died suddenly in Jakelon maternal and child hospital in Kota. This month, 77 children have died in this hospital.
