BERLIN: Bhagwant Mann, the chief minister of Punjab, has invited the German multinational pump and valve manufacturer KSB SE and Co KGaA to set up shop in the state. On Thursday night, the Chief Minister met with Phillip Storch, Vice President (Sales Management Water) of KSB SE & Co KGaA. The company received a request to set up shop in Punjab from the chief minister. He said that Punjab's political stability, good connectivity, liberal laws that are pro-industry, clean, green environments, and excellent quality of life are all significant advantages for business. Mann also spoke extensively about the state's industrial ecosystem's advantages and business potential. The Chief Minister emphasised the government's policies that support business, saying that Punjab's accessibility by road, train, and air, fair labour laws with no limits on where employees can live, and reliable power supply are ideal for businesses wishing to establish operations there. Mann also sent an invitation to senior KSB SE & Co KGaA officials to attend the Progressive Punjab Investors' Summit on February 23–24, 2023. He also emphasised Punjab as a place of opportunity and urged the business to make an investment there. Vice President (Sales Management Water) Storch praised Punjab's single-window system for fiscal and regulatory services as well as its rankings for business-friendliness.
