Ayodhya: On Tuesday, Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, accompanied by his cabinet colleagues, embarked on a significant pilgrimage to Ayodhya to pay homage to Lord Ramlala. The atmosphere was brimming with excitement and devotion as they undertook this sacred journey. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, along with ministers Shri Satpal Maharaj, Shri Premchand Aggarwal, Shri Subodh Uniyal, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, Smt. Rekha Arya, and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Naresh Bansal, commenced their trip from Jolly Grant Airport. Their destination was the revered Shri Ayodhya Dham, where they were warmly welcomed upon arrival at Maharishi Valmiki International Airport. The air resonated with chants of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ as they made their way to Ram Janmabhoomi. At the sacred site, Chief Minister Dhami and his colleagues reverently bowed before Lord Ram, offering prayers and seeking blessings. Overwhelmed with emotion, CM Dhami expressed his profound sense of devotion and joy after the divine darshan of Shri Ramlala. He reflected on the years Ramlala had spent in a makeshift shelter, stirring deep emotions within him. Highlighting the Uttarakhand government's commitment to facilitating pilgrimages to Ayodhya, CM Dhami announced plans to establish a state guesthouse for Uttarakhand residents in the holy city of Lord Shri Ram. The government has allocated ₹32 crore for the acquisition of land spanning 4700 square meters to construct this guesthouse, aimed at providing pilgrims from Uttarakhand with comfortable accommodation during their visits to Ayodhya.
