Centre doesn't have Covid plan for orphans defective: Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot

Jaipur: Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has questioned the central government's package for orphaned children during the Corona period. CM Gehlot has said, "The package released by the Government of India is not fair, there is nothing for widows in this package. An amount of Rs.1,00,000 is being given immediately in the package released by the Government of Rajasthan."

CM Gehlot further said, "I will talk to PM Narendra Modi about this package, it will be our endeavour that the Central Government announces a relief package with immediate effect for children orphaned and widowed women in Corona." Ashok Gehlot also said that "earlier we also struggled to get free vaccine, constantly pressurised the Central government, then finally PM Modi has taken the right decision."

Gehlot said "reports of free vaccination have been planted in Rajasthan to create a story. An attempt was made to defame the state, saying 11:30 lakh vaccine doses have been wasted in Rajasthan'" Naming a newspaper, CM Gehlot said 'the public should not give such false news in such an environment. The newspaper has defamed the nursing staff, who will be the person of the nursing staff who will waste the vaccine? Say it?'
