CM KDS announced that the land was provided for the construction of the film city

We all know that Hyderabad should be made with cinema city. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has announced 1500-2000 acres of land for the construction of cinema city in Hyderabad. The Chief Minister asked the officials and the film industry delegation to visit the 'Cinema City' in Bulgaria and bring the blueprint.

Cm discussed the film city's proposal in Hyderabad on Saturday with film personalities Chiranjeevi and Akkineni Nagarjuna at Pragati Bhavan. State General Secretary Somesh Kumar and Telangana Planning Board Vice Chairman B Vinod Kumar participated. About 10 lakh people depend directly or indirectly on the film industry for their livelihood, and their lives were affected during the lockdown when the film shooting stopped, the CM said.

"The recovery rate in Telangana is 91.88 per cent. Following the Covid-19 protocols, film shooting can be resumed and theaters should be opened to support the livelihood of people who depend on the film industry," Rao said. The government proposed land for the construction of the cinema city with all the advanced facilities on international standards and facilities like airstrip for land flights.
