CM Nitish's big decision on death due to coronavirus

Patna: The Bihar government has taken a big decision in the interest of the family members of government employees who died due to corona during duty. The government is going to give special pension to such families till the retirement age of the deceased worker. This has been approved in the cabinet meeting chaired by CM Nitish Kumar. In addition to the meeting, 8 doctors absent from duty in the corona period have also been dismissed.

Nitish Kumar completed the cabinet meeting through video conferencing from the Dialogue Auditorium of CM Housing. In the meeting, it was decided to give the benefit of family pension to the relatives of the corona warriors government employees who died in the midst of duty. If the family wishes, one member of the family will be given a job in lieu of pension. Pension benefits will not be given.

According to the information received, the government will provide this facility to the relatives of the employees who died on duty from April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021. After the year 2004, the government has taken this big decision for the employees who come in service. The Cabinet has also done a big investigation on the 8 government doctors who were missing from duty during the Corona period. He has been dismissed due to negligence in service.
