Afghanistan has expressed strong opposition to the violation of the territory of its border by the Pakistan Army. The letter has been written to the Security Council. It has told this team of 15 countries that if bilateral talks do not help the situation, then it should take necessary action. Adela Raj, Afghanistan's permanent representative to the United Nations, has written a letter to the Chairman of the Security Council (Germany). In which he has recently reported the border violation by Pakistan.
He said that in this case Afghanistan had expressed concern in the Security Council in the months of February and August of 2019. Despite this, the border of the country continues to be violated by Pakistan.
He said that on July 15, Pakistan military forces attacked Afghan border posts and residential areas in the cities of Sarakano and Assad Abad of Kunar State with unprovoked cannons. 4 soldiers of the Afghan security forces were killed in the 160 round fire, while 6 people died, as well as the property of ordinary citizens has been severely damaged. The letter said that Afghanistan complained several times about the violation of border areas by Pakistani soldiers, but this sequence continues. He has appealed that the letter written by Pakistan regarding the violation of border area is going to be kept as a record of the Security Council. It is hoped that this matter will be settled soon.
